Pulmonary Allergy Critical Care & Sleep Associates (PACCSA) is comprised of ten physicians. Eight are board-certified pulmonary and critical care physicians, and five of which are also sleep disorder specialists. We have one adult and pediatric allergist & immunologist and one critical care nephrologist. Our three office locations serve Oakland, Macomb, Lapeer, Wayne, and Ingham counties.
Founded in 1987, our team of physicians has established the reputation as the leading Pulmonary, Critical Care, Sleep, and Allergy specialists in southeast Michigan. They hold leadership roles at Ascension Providence Rochester Hospital, McLaren Oakland Hospital, and McLaren-Lapeer Region Hospital and serve on medical advisory boards.

Dr. Al-Ameri is board certified in pulmonary and critical care medicine. He earned his medical degree at the University of Aleppo Faculty of Medicine in Syria. His internal medicine residency and his pulmonary and critical care fellowships were completed at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. He began his practice in 1987.
Dr. Go is board certified in pulmonary and critical care medicine. He earned his medical degree at the Cebu Institute of Medicine in the Philippines. His internal medicine residency was completed at the Cabrini Medical Center in New York City, New York and his pulmonary and critical care fellowships at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.
He joined Dr. Al-Ameri in 1987, creating the beginnings of the high standard of care that defines Pulmonary Allergy Critical Care & Sleep Associate
Dr. Kashlan is board certified in pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine. He earned his medical degree at Damascus University Faculty of Medicine in Syria. His internal medicine residency was completed at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey and his pulmonary, critical care, and sleep fellowships at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. He joined PACCSA in 1999.
Dr. Sabbaq is board certified in pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine. He earned his medical degree at Damascus University Faculty of Medicine in Syria. His internal medicine residency was completed at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center in Englewood, New Jersey and his pulmonary, critical care, and sleep fellowships at the NYU School of Medicine in New York City, New York. He joined PACCSA in 2007.
Dr. Ghabsha is board certified in pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine. He earned his medical degree at Damascus University Faculty of Medicine in Syria. His internal medicine residency was completed at the Detroit Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan, his pulmonary and critical care fellowships at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in Madison, Wisconsin, and his sleep medicine fellowship at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. He joined PACCSA in 2009.
Dr. Emad Shehada is board certified in pulmonary and critical care medicine. He earned his medical degree at the University of Aleppo Faculty of Medicine in Syria. His internal medicine residency and his pulmonary and critical care fellowships were completed at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. He joined PACCSA in 2015.
Dr. Ghanem is board certified in pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine. He earned his medical degree at Damascus University Faculty of Medicine in Syria. His internal medicine residency was completed at Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, Pennsylvania, his pulmonary and sleep fellowships at Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine in Huntington, West Virginia, and his critical care fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He joined PACCSA in 2016.
Dr. Alkhankan is board certified in pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine. He earned his medical degree at the University of Aleppo Faculty of Medicine in Syria. His internal medicine residency and pulmonary medicine fellowship were completed at Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine in Huntington, West Virginia, and his critical care medicine fellowship at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. He joined PACCSA in 2017.
Dr. Abraham is board certified in allergy & immunology medicine. She earned her medical degree at the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Her internal medicine residency was completed at McLaren Oakland Hospital in Pontiac, Michigan and her allergy and immunology fellowship at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. She joined PACCSA in 2018.
